Just several facts about this object:
- building plot is located in protection zone of National Sanctuary "Sophia of Kyiv", which is inscribed on the World Heritage List. Ukraine has already received a warning from UNESCO because of this violation, which can result in exclusion of St. Sophia from the List.
- goverment service for culture heritage protection oficially demanded to stop all construction works
- public prosecutor's office of Kyiv on May 2, 2009 made a protest against decision of local authorities to sell this lot
- building also threatens to foundations of other houses located nearby
- public hearings were falsified
